Proposal: Launching a new GAIN Vault – Stablecoin Vault vs BTC Vault

Personally i think the stablecoin vault makes a lot more sense right now. That 15–20% APR is really attractive, and it fits the current market vibe where most people are risk averse and just want stable yield.

Also, having a stablecoin vault could help KernelDAO grow its TVL faster and protect the protocol from big market dips. Makes it stronger long term.

Both are very good ideas but I will like to go for the stable coin vault gain as it involves high profits but also a community vote will be a fair and nice move to determine the decision The initiative behind this proposal is unique and outstanding but the team could consider ~20-25% APR on the stablecoin Vault and at least 8% on the BTC Vault

I personally think the BTC Vault is the stronger option here. While stablecoins offer predictability, the BTC Vault aligns more with the ethos of crypto — embracing volatility for long-term gain. With BTC’s upside potential and increasing institutional interest, having a BTC-backed vault could attract more yield-focused users who believe in BTC’s long-term value. That said, I’d love to know what strategies KernelDAO plans to use for managing BTC yield sustainably without taking excessive risk. Are you exploring lending platforms or partnerships to enhance the yield?

I’m really pleased by this rare opportunity as a community member of this great community.
Firstly I’d emphasize on option 1, in order to achieve a 15-20% APR with stablecoin vaults, the team has to understand the platform’s risk parameters and mitigation strategies, ensure sufficient liquidity to minimize exit risks, and lastly Look for robust audits and transparent risk management.

This is a solid initiative.. Allowing us the Community participate in voting through staking will strengthen trust :100:
BTC Vault targeting 5% APR is what I have voted for :crown:

I like the stubblecoin option more because the rewards are higher.

The Stablecoin Vault seems like a solid move for risk-averse users and could attract new liquidity, especially during uncertain market conditions. The ~15–20% APR is attractive if the yield strategy remains sustainable and transparent.

Both vaults is actually a welcome idea and a great plan from the team.
The partnership with DeFi protocols and RWA providers will ultimately produce a good outcome. I can say for sure that this project will change the course of history.

This is a well-structured proposal and it’s great to see the DAO involving the community in strategic decisions like this. Both vault options present strong benefits. Personally, I lean slightly toward the Stablecoin Vault — the higher target APR and lower volatility could attract more conservative DeFi users and help diversify KernelDAO’s revenue base, especially in turbulent markets. That said, the BTC Vault would also be a solid addition for long-term holders looking to earn yield while maintaining BTC exposure.

Looking forward to hearing others’ views. Perhaps we could even explore launching both over time based on demand?

The idea behind the proposal is Impressive both proposal are good depending on specific people and mindset but for me stable coin ~15–20% APR makes more sense as it matches the current market rn a market where people avoid risk and choose stability. The stable coin vault would also benefit KernelDAO making its stronger on a longer term. While btc holders don’t tend to move their asset as much

Personally, I lean toward launching the Stablecoin Vault first. It introduces diversification for KernelDAO and adds resilience in volatile markets, especially valuable as we scale. The projected 15–20% APR also has strong potential to attract new users…:heart::heart:

I think it’s really a great proposal of both vaults with offering strong potentiality. I would also like to say that about the stablecoin vaults because they have lower volatility, low liquidation and higher yields.

Great proposal! I like the clear comparison between the Stablecoin and BTC Vaults. It’s smart to cater to both risk-averse and risk-tolerant users.

Would love to see some data or projections on user behavior for each option. Could launching both in parallel help us learn faster?

Excited to see where this goes!

Voted in favour the stablecoin vault!

Since KernelDAO already offers BTC-relative solutions such as liquid restaking and judging the current popularity of stablecoins and RWA, I would go with the stablecoin vault first. And I say first because obviously a BTC vault would be a great idea in a second time !

Interesting proposal Considering the current market conditions, I’d lean towards the Stablecoin Vault with its 15-20% APR. The stability and predictability of returns could attract more users and enhance the DAO’s resilience. However, I’d love to hear more about the RWA strategies and partnerships planned for both options. How do you envision the yield generation working for each vault, and what kind of partnerships are being explored?

Hello everyone. I like that Kelp_dao(Kernel_dao) is not stopping only at Ethereum, but also developing other branches, such as Bitcoin and stablecoins restaking. This is a good step towards scalability and attracting new customers. Good luck. I will follow you)

Both are nice but me as a person will like more yield in investment on stable coins rather than on Bitcoin mainly because of the price of Bitcoin is significantly higher than that of stable coins also Bitcoin is prone to drop at anytime because of the economy and top holders.

Both vaults are excellent options.
The stablecoin vault offers a great yield with minimal volatility, perfect for those seeking steady returns. Meanwhile, the BTC vault is a smart choice for holders looking to generate passive income without selling. I’m eager to see the community’s decision.

Wow okay a stable coin vault gain and a community vote will be a Splendid Idea and nice move to determine the decision .

Both are very good ideas but I must say, as for me, if I personally were to decide, I’d like to go for the stable coin vault gain as it more Profitable..
