As part of our ongoing commitment to foster community engagement and support, we are excited to propose the launch of our Season 4 initiative.
Building upon the successes of Seasons 1, 2, and 3 from December 2023 till August 2025, which saw significant participation and growth within our ecosystem, Season 4 aims to further reward our dedicated community members and incentivize future engagement within the protocol and its ecosystem across DeFi.
Season 4 would introduce an airdrop of 10,000,000 KERNEL tokens (1% of Total Supply) to eligible Kelp, Gain, and Kernel restakers.
This initiative is designed to acknowledge and reward our community’s continued support and active participation in the KernelDAO ecosystem.
Initiative Details
Objectives
Reward loyal community members who have contributed to the growth and success of KernelDAO.
Incentivize new and existing community members to engage more deeply with our platform and products.
Promote sustained growth and adoption of KernelDAO products.
Token Allocation
A total of 10,000,000 KERNEL tokens would be distributed during Season 4.
This represents 1% of the Total Supply, and means that cumulatively KernelDAO has dedicated 17% of the Total Supply to airdrops since the inception of Season 1.
Timeline
Duration: 6 months.
Start Date: September 1st, 2025.
End Date: February 28th, 2026
The airdrop distribution would occur within the next 60 days after End Date.
Conditions
To qualify:
On Kelp side, users must have an ETH amount equal or greater than the amount at the end of Season 3
On Kernel side, users must have a BTC/ BNB amount equal or greater than the amount at the end of Season 3,
Any sybil or manipulation attempts will result in no airdrop
Conclusion
We believe this proposal will not only reward our community members for their continued participation and support, but also incentivize future engagement and growth within the KernelDAO ecosystem.

Will those reinvested rewards count toward meeting the “equal or greater” threshold, or only the principal at snapshot?

Season 4 looks solid. I like that the airdrop rewards aren’t just random , it’s tied to actual holdings on Kelp, Gain & Kernel, so loyal participants benefit. Also, dedicating 1% of total supply this season while 17% has already gone to airdrops shows a real commitment to community growth.
